The frontispiece represents a smart factory in which there are two production chains: one side fabricating suitable luminescent fragments to visualize the cell adequately and on the other side bioactive metal centers with optimal cytotoxic activity. Both metallic fragments are further combined in a small laboratory to produce trackable chemotherapeutic agents with higher potency and selectivity. For more details, see the Concept article by V.
