The biological activity of a series of gold(I) complexes presenting the same chromophoric unit (4‐ethynylanile) and that differ on the phosphine located at the second coordination position was performed and shows, among other things, that mononuclear complexes are more cytotoxic against A2780 ovarian cells, whereas dinuclear complexes are effective also against HCT116 colorectal cells.
