Through the use of different building blocks of diverse geometry, a series of platinum(II) bipyridine complexes with different sizes of triangular metallacycles and alkyl/oligoether chains has been employed to systematically study their structure–property relationship. Amazingly, the complexes show different emission origins dependent on the sizes of the triangular metallacycles. The present study will provide new strategies to construct large π‐conjugated complex systems for molecular functional materials. More information can be found in the Full Paper by Y. Li, V. W.‐W.
