The formation of a pyrazole byproduct is a problem in the decomposition reaction of alkynyl‐ N ‐sulfonylhydrazones to release alkynyl diazomethanes. This problem has been resolved by using alkynyl‐ N ‐nosylhydrazones, and further applied to coupling with boric acids leading to allenes. For more details, see the Communication by Bi, Zanoni, et al. on page 9009 ff.
