Host–Guest Chemistry In their Review on page 2236 ff., R. Ohtani and S. Hayami discuss the guest characteristics (size, shape, flexibility, chemical properties, and content) that impact on the spin‐transition (ST) behavior in host–guest composites of Hofmann‐type ST porous coordination polymers (PCPs). Although these factors clearly influence ST behavior, the resultant ST behavior should be elucidated holistically by taking into account not only the suggested guest characteristics, but also the host characteristics; both of these sets of characteristics play important roles in host–guest interactions.
