Immune Receptors Low‐molecular‐weight carbohydrate‐based ligands for Toll‐like receptor 4 (TLR‐4) and cluster of differentiation 1D (CD1d) are showing increasing prominence in immunotherapy and as vaccine adjuvants. In this paper by Marzabadi and Franck, strategies for preparing analogues and novel ligands for these receptors is discussed. Clinical data for some of the compounds is also described.
