The chemical modification of DNA G‐quadruplexes with transition‐metal coordinating groups broadens their applicability in bio‐nanotechnology and enables the introduction of metal‐specific functionality. Systematic studies relate the interplay between complex formation and quadruplex stabilization to the chirality, linker length and number of incorporated ligands.
