Pb‐free, ternary AgSbS 2 colloidal quantum dots have attracted significant attention in solar cell applications. A detailed surface chemistry study suggests a passivation model of cation‐rich (1 1 1) surfaces, stabilized by anionic thiolate ligands, and non‐polar (1 0 0) surfaces passivated with lattice‐associated thiolate ligands in the AgSbS 2 quantum dots.
