Tuning spin crossover (SCO) behavior through paramagnetic building blocks is of great interest for the synergy between SCO and magnetic interactions. Three trinuclear complexes are reported, featuring thermally and light‐induced SCO properties by modifying the steric hindrance of paramagnetic Fe III building blocks.
