Fusing six‐membered phosphorus heterocycles with different (hetero)aromatic rings provides materials with an outstanding potential for multifunctional applications. Our investigations reveal the key parameters to obtain polycyclic architectures based on six‐membered phosphorus heterocycles with, among others, electron‐accepting properties, fluorescence quantum yields up to 0.8, and versatile means to control the 3D molecular arrangement through phosphorus post‐functionalization.
