Li Batteries: Safety, Long Life, and High Energy Safety and non‐flammability, as well as high energy content and long life, may be achieved by combining advanced lithium‐ion electrodes in ionic liquid electrolyte. Such an appealing lithium‐ion battery involves pyrrolidinium‐based IL, alloying anode and layered‐structure cathode. The energy storage system actually represents an ideal candidate for a safe employment in modern electronic devices and electric vehicles. For more details, see the Full Paper by S. Passerini, J.
