Metal–Organic Frameworks An easy and straight forward method to synthesize hollow zeolitic imidazolate structures with large cavities and smooth shells without grain boundaries in a yolk‐shell like fashion is described. Embedding of catalytically active species inside these hollow structures could facilitate diffusional processes without losing the molecular sieving properties (MOF shell), compared to the pristine bulk material.
