A series of chromium phthalocyanine complexes (PcCr) has been prepared and structurally characterized. The “collection” spans five oxidation states from the ring‐reduced Pc 4− Cr I system to a Pc 2− Cr III complex and includes the Pc‐ and Cr‐oxidation states in between, illustrating the impressive redox‐active nature of PcM systems.
