Group 4 bis(trimethylsilyl)alkyne complexes represent a firm starting point, metaphorically calming the waves of side reactions like a breakwater dam. Treatment of these with isonitriles resulted firstly in bis(isonitrile) complexes and aza‐metallacycloallenes. Subsequently, an enimine complex is obtained, rising tall as the breakwater light from the sea. From it derives the highlight of the paper: A tricyclic system obtained from the coupling and rearrangement of four isonitriles and one alkyne. The demetalation with HCl converts it into a highly substituted pyrrole. More information can be found in the Full Paper by U. Rosenthal et al. on page 9169 ff.
