Abstract Invited for the cover of this issue is the group of Mercedes Álvarez at the University of Barcelona. The image depicts the Álvarez group′s effort to successfully “fish” an efficient strategy for the synthesis of the bromomethoxydiene (BMD) moiety present in marine natural products such as phormidolides and oscillariolides.
