Aluminum‐zoned zeolite nanocrystals and commercial ZSM‐5 crystals subjected to alkaline treatment show individual differences in creation of hollow single crystals and mesopore structure, respectively. At different stages of the synthesis, the individual crystals are leached to different extents and nearly intact crystals are present even after extensive leaching. Prospective research of individual dissolution rates should lead to new possibilities in post‐synthesis treatments. For more details, see the Full Paper by J. A. van Bokhoven et al. on page 6272 ff.
