Controlled secondary self‐assembly of amphiphilic molecules in solution has theoretical and practical significance in amphiphilic molecular applications. In their Full Paper on page 5000 ff. , X.‐D. Fan, W. Tian, and co‐workers describe the design of an amphiphilic β‐cyclodextrin dimer, which can self‐assemble into spherical micelles in aqueous solution without ultrasonication. While the primary micelles were dissociated under the action of ultrasonication; the secondary self‐assemblies possessing branched morphology could be formed by further increasing the ultrasonication time.
