Live Cell Imaging A series of newly designed 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole (BTD) fluorescent derivatives has been synthesized and applied for selective mitochondrial staining and dynamics inside live cells. The most selective biomarker (Splendor) showed an impressive subcellular localization with a bright green fluorescence emission revealing important features of the organelle distribution and dynamics during the cell division.
