Abstract Invited for the cover of this issue is the group of Stuart H. Taylor at the Cardiff Catalysis Institute of Cardiff University. The image depicts the selective ruthenium‐ion‐catalyzed oxidation of a range of alkylated polyaromatic hydrocarbons. RuO 4 targets oxidation of aromatic carbon in preference to aliphatic carbon.
