Two new blue luminogens, Py‐4MethylTPE and Py‐4 m TPE, constructed with a pyrene core and tetraphenylethene peripheries, have been successfully obtained. These two luminogens show AIE and AEE effects, respectively, as a result of minor differences in their structures. An OLED device based on Py‐4 m TPE exhibits a good performance ( η C,max =4.02 cd A −1 , λ EL,max =436 nm) and reveals the powerful effect of a different linkage mode for the construction of blue AIE luminogens.
