Amine‐functionalization of TiO 2 nanoparticles, through a solvothermal approach, substantially increases the affinity of CO 2 on TiO 2 surfaces through chemisorption. This chemisorption allows for more effective activation of CO 2 and charge transfer from excited TiO 2 , and significantly enhances the photocatalytic rate of CO 2 reduction into methane and CO.
