Clicking 3D materials : Hybrid, organic–inorganic polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane precursors are woven into macroscopically shaped entities by thiol‐ene chemistry in a radical‐mediated, step‐growth fashion, by photo or thermal initiation (see figure). The materials are nanostructured and their macroporous features and physical properties are easily tailored.
