Layer upon layer : A facile extended Stöber method has been developed for the synthesis of diverse metal–carbon spheres, which includes core–shell‐structured Ag@carbon, rattle‐type Ag,AgBr@meso‐SiO 2 , and yolk–shell‐structured Ag@carbon@meso‐SiO 2 (see figure).
