Dynamic cubes in this case borophosphonate cages with P‐O‐B linkages, can be obtained in [4+4] condensation reactions of tert ‐butylphosphonic acid and boronic acids. The cages are constitutionally dynamic scaffolds that can be decorated with reactive groups. These features make borophosphonates attractive building blocks for the thermodynamically controlled synthesis of molecular and polymeric nanostructures. For more details see the Full Paper by K.
