A sensitive immunoassay method has been developed by combining a disposable electrochemical immunosensor with a carbon sphere/gold nanoparticle composite as an electrochemical label, which exhibits a wide linear range, low detection limit, good specificity, and acceptable accuracy for the detection of antigen.
