A photosensitizer exhibition of ruthenium(II) complexes featuring click‐derived tridentate cyclometalating ligands is reported. Systematic structural manipulations and detailed electrochemical, photophysical, and computational investigations have been performed, allowing a deeper understanding and revealing great potential for application in dye‐sensitized solar cells.
