Linked in : A rhodium(I) catalyst system [[Rh(cod)Cl]+DPPF] enables carbocyclization and chlorosulfonylation of 1,6‐enynes with sulfonyl chlorides, thus allowing the formation of three different bonds (CCl, CC, and CS) in a one‐step fashion (see scheme; cod=cyclooctadiene, DPPF=1,1′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene). Sulfonyl chlorides are shown to be an efficient linker in this transformation, which complements other known element–element linkers.
