The backbone symmetry of dendronized poly(amide–triazole) polymers can have a significant influence on the strength of polymer interchain association and their organogelation properties, as reported in the Full Paper by H.‐F. Chow et al. on page 8395 ff. Hence, dendronized polymers that possess a non‐centrosymmetric backbone will inherent a net dipole moment, which provides an additional driving force towards self association.
