Vinylation of azoles : The cationic Ru II complex, [RuCl(PPh 3 )(dppe)(CH 3 CN) 2 ][BPh 4 ], is an efficient catalyst for regio‐ and stereoselective vinylation of azoles by alkynes (dppe=diphenylphosphinoethane; see scheme). Only 0.5 mol % of the complex is required and the reactions do not require stringent exclusion of moisture and air.
