Lattice salad : A neutral 2D lattice was converted into a 3D porous network (see figure) through a photochemical [2+2] cycloaddition in a single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal manner. Both systems present interesting catalytic activity accompanied by a 2D→3D structural transformation induced by the ambient light source.
