Light at the end of the tunnel : A new noncovalent strategy to light up single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) by functionalizing them with DNA‐templated silver nanoclusters is reported (see scheme). The resulting nanohybrids combine the unique properties of both nanomaterials and could serve as a convenient and efficient platform for fluorescence visualization of SWNTs. Such nanohybrids could also have promising applications in novel electrical materials, biological probes, and fluorescent nanosensors.
