Several ion‐responsive alkynylrhenium(I) tricarbonyl diimine metallogelators have been designed. The sol–gel transitions and luminescence turn‐on switching are induced by silver(I) or copper(I) ion coordination. This luminescent supramolecular gel assembly process can also be considered as a molecular AND logic gate. For more details see the Full Paper by V. W.‐W. Yam and S.‐T. Lam on page 11588 ff.
