Anti‐infective dimers! A source of stereochemically and pharmacologically exciting metabolites: The Chinese plant Ancistrocladus tectorius. The alkaloids have as many as three consecutive chiral axes and show specific anti‐infective activities. The Chinese characters mean “plant with hooks” (= Ancistrocladus ).
