Layered TiO 2 composed of nanosheets with exposed {001} facets were synthesized by using in situ generated BF 4 − and PrO − as morphology‐controlling agents (see scheme). The obtained layered TiO 2 with reactive {001} facets shows excellent photocatalytic activity, resulting from the synergetic effects of the layered structures and the {001} facet‐dominated nanosheets.
