A fast and soft option! A fast and soft ionic‐liquid synthesis route is presented to obtain monophasic TiO 2 (B) nanoparticles (see figure). The material presents interesting electrochemical properties when used as the negative electrode (charge capacity, reversibility, stability, and low temperature performance) in Li batteries.
