Fighting the prions! The interaction of Pt‐ and Au‐based metal complexes with the human prion protein fragment PrP106–126 (see figure) was investigated to identify potential therapeutic agents against the prion disease. These findings provide a new therapeutic direction in the design and development of metallodrugs against neurodegenerative diseases.
