Tuck in! (C 5 Me 5 ) − effects alkyl CH bond activation (Th) and reduction (U) with the cationic complexes [(C 5 Me 5 ) 2 An{ i PrNC(Me)N i Pr}][BPh 3 Me] to form the first structurally characterized thorium complex that contains a tuck‐in metalated (C 5 Me 5 CH 2 ) 2− ligand (see figure) and a trivalent metallocene amidinate [(C 5 Me 5 ) 2 U{ i PrNC(Me)N i Pr}].
