MAPO‐11 molecular sieves (see figure) were successfully synthesized by using the ionothermal method in 1‐butyl 3‐methyl imidazolium bromide ionic liquid. Catalysts based on this material supported by platinum were applied in the hydroisomerization of n ‐dodecane and exhibited excellent catalytic performance.
