New family member : The “ferrocene–salimine” system depicted is a chiral three‐dimensional relative of the ubiquitous salicyldaldimine ligand family. A short synthesis of the S p enantiomer and its use in bis(“ferrocene–saliminato”)ZrCl 2 chemistry is reported.
