A new dodecadehydro[18]annulene fused to three tetrathiafulvalene moieties shows a strong charge‐transfer transition of intramolecular rather than intermolecular origin. In the Full Paper on page 8451 ff., F. Diederich, M. Brøndsted Nielsen et al. show that the π‐stacking aggregation tendency is negligible and not an intrinsic property of these acetylenic macrocycles. Yet, aromatic π‐stacking self‐assembly can be promoted by additional intermolecular dipolar interactions between appropriate functional groups.
