The cover picture shows the convergent synthesis of dendritic macromolecules composed of glycerol and succinic acid. In the picture, the color red represents the benzylidene acetal protecting group for the 1,3‐hydroxyl groups of glycerol. The color blue represents the tert ‐butyldiphenyl silyl protecting group for the carboxyl functionality of succinic acid. The color green depicts a linear poly(ethylene glycol) polymer. Finally, black represents the dendritic branches consisting of glycerol and succinic acid. For more details see the paper by M. W. Grinstaff et al. on page 5618 ff.
