Core Ideas Yield increased when in‐furrow phosphorus was applied to late‐planted wheat in 2 of 3 years. Yield increased ≥1 bu acre –1 58% of the time in‐furrow phosphorus was applied to late‐planted wheat. Sixty‐three percent of the time an increased seeding rate increased yield by at least 1 bu acre –1 for late‐planted wheat.
