Thin sinusoidal corrugated web I‐sections have been utilizing commonly in recent years. Though, there are scarce number of studies about their connections. The moment‐resisting extended end plate type beam‐to‐column connections of sinusoidal corrugated web I sections are assessed by means of experimental studies to reveal the important response characteristics. Three full scale beam‐to‐column connections were tested in the Structural and Earthquake Engineering Laboratory of Istanbul Technical University. Although two of the specimens have corrugated‐web panel zone, the third one has relatively thicker flat plate in the panel zone and its near‐vicinity. Double diagonal stiffeners are used in the sinusoidal panel zone of one specimen. It is obtained that two distinct specimens exhibit the comparable responses in terms of the stiffness and strength properties.
