Composite beam‐to‐girder joints with fin‐plates have been widely used in non‐seismic regions and basic design models have been proposed in EC4 and other documents; however, there is insufficient experimental data to verify the proposed models or to provide rational parameters that complete the joint models. In this paper, experiments of two full‐scaled beam‐to‐girder joints with composite slab were conducted: one without contact plates and the other with them between the lower flanges. Simple models of moment‐rotation relations were then proposed based on EC4. The proposed models provided reasonable approximations to the test results.
