Invited for this month's cover picture is the group of Prof. Jusef Hassoun at University of Ferrara (Italy) and Prof. Yoichi Tominaga at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (Japan). The cover picture shows that a suitable electrolyte solution based on glyme and LiNO 3 allows high‐energy metallic lithium to be employed in a compact rechargeable battery. The system may be efficiently used to store power from renewable energy sources such as wind and solar, as well as in new‐generation electric vehicles.
