The Cover Feature illustrates direct electron transfer between glucose and electrogenerated AuCl 4 − , catalyzed by glucose oxidase and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). Well‐defined AuNPs are attached onto an insulating surface. Direct electron transfer between glucose and AuCl 4 − is found to be dependent on the size of the gold nanoparticles. More information can be found in the Article by E. Malel and D. Mandler on page 147 in Issue 1, 2019 (DOI: 10.1002/celc.201801091).
