The Cover Feature shows an scanning electrochemical potential microscopy (SECPM) image of graphite and a tip approach curve calculated according to a new theoretical model. The model, illustrated on the cover, proposes that charge balance at the SECPM tip is maintained by a combination of tunneling and faradaic currents.
