The Back Cover picture illustrates the generation of near‐infrared ECL by switching the electrode potential on/off over time. The ECL from the gold nanoclusters in the highly advantageous near‐IR spectrum window is enhanced by using EDTA as a prototype chelator, and modulated by metal ions such as Mg 2+ .
