A theoretical model of EC mechanism that consists of reversible electrode reaction and totally irreversible chemical reaction is developed for cyclic and square wave voltammetry. Critical kinetic parameters are calculated and their application for the determination of rate constant of chemical reaction is demonstrated. It is shown that this constant may be used for the estimation of enhanced activity of antioxidants.
