Abstract The material behavior of elastic‐plastic zeolite 4A granules has been experimentally studied using compression tests. The influence of particle size and moisture content has been investigated. Furthermore, the specific fracture energy distribution and the distribution of the equivalent breakage velocity at impact on a rigid target have been determined.
